Public Launch of UN / PSIPW Water Portal in Vienna

A new international web portal for water professionals is now available to the public. A joint effort of the United Nations and PSIPW, the International Water Portal is a comprehensive online forum for all parties professionally involved with water. It combines the functionality of a professional database, an online digital library, and a professional networking site.

PSIPW is My Father's Legacy

HRH Prince Khalid Bin Sultan, the Prize Council Chairman, and Saudi Arabia's Deputy Secretary of Defense, declared the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water to be an important part of his father's legacy and pledged his commitment to see the Prize continue into perpetuity and grow to new heights.

5th Award: Nominations Received from 50 Countries

Applications for the 5th Award (2012) officially closed on 31 January 2012. Nominations were received from 50 countries, with many countries represented by multiple nominees. More applications to the Prize were completed for the present award than at any time in the Prize's history.
