For the third consecutive year, the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water was the Platinum Sponsor for the European Meeting on Environmental Chemistry, an interdisciplinary conference that covers a broad range of topics within the field of environmental chemistry. PSIPW honoured eleven young researchers for best paper and poster presentations.
PSIPW participated in the 2nd International Conference on Risk Assessment of Pharmaceuticals in the Environment (ICRAPHE 2019) which was held in Barcelona, Spain from 28 to 29 November 2019. The participation of three leading experts in the field was supported by a PSIPW grant.
The award took place at the 14th SDEWES conference, which was held from 1-6 October, 2019 in the city of Dubrovnik, Croatia. The conference brought together around 570 scientists, researchers, and experts in the field of sustainable development from 55 countries.
The Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water participated as the Platinum Sponsor of the 16th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (CEST 2019) which was held in Rhodes, Greece from 4-7 September 2019.
On 29 October 2018, the 8th Awards Ceremony of the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The event which took place under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, was sponsored by the UN Missions of Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, and Thailand along with the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA).
