The PSIPW film, which is entitled Recognizing Innovation in Water-Related Fields had its premier showing in Baden-Baden Germany on 17 May 2009 at the European Desalination Society's Conference and Exhibition on Desalination for The Environment.

It was also shown in Vienna at the fifty-second session of the United Nations' Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) which was held from 8 to 12 June, 2009.

The film introduces the Prize and its objectives and explains why water is a scarce resource.

It is also soon to be released on DVD.
