Nomination Conditions for the Creativity Prize:

  1.  Nomination for creativity prize will be extended to any individual (or group of individuals) who effectively contributes to the achievement of any criteria as presented in the definition of the Creativity Prize.

  2. The Creativity prize is awarded to living persons, but not to organizations.

  3. Individuals can be nominated for the Creativity Prize only through Universities, Institutions or Governments. Individuals cannot nominate themselves or others.

  4. The work presented for nomination must be preformed within the five years before the current nomination deadline of the prize.

  5. An applicant nominated for the creativity prize cannot be nominated for the specialized branches of the prize in the same round.

  6. Nominated works should be submitted in English. Arabic works has to be accompanied by a detailed abstract in English explaining the objectives, methodology and main results.

  7. The work presented for nomination should not have won other international prizes.

  8. Members of the prize committees and their first class relatives are not allowed to be nominated for this prize.

Nomination Conditions for the Specialized Branches Prize:

  1. An individual or organization, which has made a pioneering scientific contribution in one of the branches of the Prize, will be considered eligible for nomination.

  2. Individuals can nominate themselves, and water specialized organizations may nominate themselves or others for the Prize.

  3. A scientific organization may nominate an individual (or more) or another organization for the Prize.

  4. An applicant nominated for the Specialized Branches of the prize cannot be nominated for the Creativity Prize in the same round.

  5. An individual or organization can be nominated to only one branch of the specialized branches in the same round.

  6. In case of submitting one work done by more than one applicant, an authorized representative from all researchers should be assigned.

  7. Not more than five researches or works can be submitted for nomination. All of them should be related to the branch and topic applied for.

  8. Nominated works should be submitted in English. Arabic works has to be accompanied by a detailed abstract in English explaining the objectives, methodology and main results.

  9. Works nominated for the Prize must not have previously been awarded fully or partially by any international prize.

  10. Nominations from the Prize committee's members and their 1st of kin are not accepted.
